In order to qualify, the referred candidate must select Employee Referral as their source on the application and the employee's name must be entered in the free text box that appears once Employee Referral is selected.
All employees NOT at the manager level or above, or employed on the Talent team, are eligible for a referral bonus.
Referred candidates must be external to the MaineHealth system.
Employees can receive payment for referring candidates to any MaineHealth site, in addition to the site at which they are employed.
Payouts are made 1x after the referred employee has been with the system for 6 months. The care team member and the referred candidate must both be in an active employed status by MaineHealth at the time the bonus is paid. Employee Referral Bonuses are taxable income.
